Hey there! I prefer to be called Jack OOCly, I use they/them pronouns. I'm 21+, and have 9+ years experience in roleplay. I am however still learning the lore so please forgive and correct any slips I may have!Motivation for Writing: I love to explore heavy themes and philosophical questions through plots. This tends to follow more intense themes, the more complicated the story and nuance of the situation, the more intrigued I am. I am fine for more light hearted encounters but small talk/ surface levels encounters can only hold my attention for so long.RP themes I am fine with writing: For short term, Dark themes, Comedic Shenanigans, slice of life, Venue crawling, anything light hearted is typically better short term. This character has a lot of weight in her mind and backstory, anything that extends beyond basic encounters will get heavy.For longer term, Dark themes specifically surrounding the criminal underground, Conflict (Good guy vs Bad guy, Criminal rivals, Xaela in-fighting, Nemesis from the past, You're on the list of things she hates), Exploration of Xaela culture (Because Xaela culture is heavily based on Mongolian culture PLEASE handle this with respect). Romance is fine, but it can be a tricky road to navigate due to the nature of the character. She's got issues. Please don't take it personally. I /do/ prefer heavier rp's and want the themes surrounding the characters to be handled with care and respect for the story.RP Style: I typically am a paragraph rper but I will also paragraph match depending on who I am rping with- give me something to respond to and I'll be sure to be thorough. Also if you've noticed I've left out a detailed character biography- there's a reason for that and it's I prefer to let character backstories be revealed with roleplay. - God modding/ Overpowered characters, because Kota is an antagonistic character- fighting may happen. It's even encouraged! However I'm not interested in watching Kota try to fight Goku.
- Blending: IC is IC, OOC is OOC, Kota is incredibly aggressive and can be rude, this does not reflect how I feel AT ALL towards you or your character. If anything ICly happens that does make you OOCly uncomfortable please talk to me and we can discuss if character interaction is feesible for the future without changing the nature of the character.
- Metagaming: Unless it's discussed OOCly for your or my character to know it in character, then all character knowledge is learned in character. This is HUGE for Kota, she is VERY cautious on keeping her Tribal roots a secret from the criminal underground. If you want to explore this portion of her character please DM me and we can discuss how to handle it.
- OOC Drama: I have no interest in what happened with xyz, I am here to play online barbies. That's it.
- Forced Erotic/Romantic encounters: While I am fine with discussing it, if the characters simply don't have the chemistry- don't push for it OOCly. If the chemistry is there ICly I am fine with ERP however if ERP is your primary motivations for writing, while that's totally fine, it's not my primary motivation for writing and if my characters are reduced to sexual objects, long term roleplay will be difficult to accomplish.For long term RP my biggest thing is- communication, communication, communication. If there are any concerns or if you're interested in seeing something happen in character, please don't be afraid to reach out to me and we can talk it out. Because this character is a bit abrasive, I am open to discussing things OOCly to plan out roleplays for smoother encounters.
